Johann Baptist Wendling: Drei Sonaten für Flöte und Klavier

Johann Baptist Wendling (1723–1797) was active as a flute virtuoso in the highly renowned court orchestra of the Electoral Palatinate in Mannheim and Munich and was one of the most important musicians of the Mannheim School.

This set of three sonatas is a selection from the print ’Sei sonate a flauto traverso solo col basso... opera prima’ published in 1762 in Paris. With the realization for keyboard instrument.
