Georg Philipp Telemann: XII Fantasie per il Violine senza Basso, Ao. 1735

The only copy of G. Ph. Telemann’s 12 fantasias for violin to have come down to us is preserved in the collection of the Berlin Staatsbibliothek. Despite the publication in recent years of various editions and facsimile reprints of the works the editor believes that this edition satisfies a genuine need insofar as it endeavours to correct hitherto remaining mistakes in the redaction and interpretation of the manuscript.
